Lost at Sea - Pasadena

Overall, pretty good. big oysters and appetizers. they also have house wine at the karaffe we have really appreciated. the escaped were okay, but nothing special. we got the market fish that was well cooked, but somehow boring, and the scallop gnocchi that was quite bland. the scallops were not supposed to be, so they were quite simple. it is cool that they have the option of a prix fixe menu that my friend has ordered. that came with a dessert, that was quite delicious. a thing that is aware that they were from many things, although they have a tiny menu. it was 8 o'clock on Friday, so it was pretty weird. overall would come back, but would probably just get wein and apps.

I love this place until tonight, but, damned, they have ever ended the dinge sad

We have gone to Lost at Sea on a couple occasions in the past and enjoyed the food very much. This was my girl friend 's birthday and her special request was that we eat there. I booked the reservation for 7:10 on last Sunday evening. We arrived to find the door locked and no one in the restaurant. Looking through the window, we saw the tables set and everything apparently ready for service, but no one there. I called the restaurant 's phone number and no one answered. There was no sign on the door or other indication of what was going on. We waited 15 minutes outside, then walked over to another restaurant where we had dinner. When done, we walked back past Lost at Sea. It was still closed with no sign on the door. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed. Looking today at their web site, it appears that they are no longer open on Sundays. It says Open every /Tuesday-Saturday for dinner . Why then did Open Table accept our reservation for 7/22, a Sunday.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! eating the ambiente and the service are simply perfect! I don't think this place is closing. so sad, nice to do it on her last day!

That was delicious. the best I had at some point. service was good, but the place was not crowded. beautiful casual environment for the return of angelinos. a bit expensive, but I would pay for the quality of eating again.
