Johnny's Family - Pasadena

First of all, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It felt like a little haven of traditional American diners. This isn't a flashy place with huge menus and stainless steel decor; it's a cozy spot where you and a friend can relax, chat, and enjoy some coffee while savoring amazing food. I had the Louisiana Creole omelette, and my friend ordered the breakfast platter. His dish looked great, but my omelette absolutely blew me away! I loved all the flavors, and the portion size for the price was generous. I will definitely be coming back. My only regret is that I've lived just down the street from this restaurant for two years and just now discovered it.

What a delightful surprise! Upon entering, it feels like stepping into a cozy home, yet it’s filled with tables and a vibrant bar. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, ready to assist with anything you need. The food is absolutely delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes, and everyone was pleased with their choice. The cheesesteak sub was generously stuffed, while the shrimp salad was overflowing on both the bun and the plate. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't yet. And don’t forget to order a side of the stewed tomatoes—they're a must-try!

We were informed that they would be closing shortly after we were seated, which felt unwelcoming. The restaurant wasn't the cleanest either. My daughter didn't finish her breakfast sandwich, claiming it tasted like chemicals. I tried it myself and found it had an odd soapy flavor. The home fries were soggy, and the only redeeming aspect was the toast. We won't be coming back.

Absolutely love the breakfast here! You get great food for a decent price. The service is awesome!

I would have given you a 5-star like you've always gotten but raising your price more than 30% in one jump is a lot to take out of a budget when you're on a fixed income. Please please please reconsider such a height increase I really don't want you to lose business but if you keep the prices like this I will not be able to patronize you I won't be able to afford it.
