Ihop - Pasadena

Well it must be a hangout for after-hours. The staff was in their own world, could not be bothered with actual customers. All back of the house employees were laid back relaxing in a closed off section of the establishment. All customers entering the place could see the front of house staff and back staff lounging on their downtime , maybe they forgot people can actually see in through the windows.When the staff did come to seat us, there was a bug on the menus and with a swift swipe, it disappeared. The place was empty yet all tables were dirty and unclean. Upon seeing people waiting to be seated, is when staff decided to wipe tables with a VERY PUNGENT RAG, leaving the smell to linger the remainder of my visit. After ordering only an appetizer that didn 't have to manhandled too much, (hoping it couldn 't possibly be botched) it came to the table slightly runny.... It was mozzarella sticks... with microwaved marinara in a sticky plastic disposable container. The minion menu banana pudding pancakes with wayyyyy over ripen bananas (as in brownish black in the middle) was presented slapped on top of some questionable pudding . It is one banana, looked as if it were prepped from the day before. Trying to be safe as possible, we ordered coffee that tasted as burnt as my first grill cheese ever made. Although presentation is not everything, it left nothing to be imagined... If you want staff that CLEARLY DOES NOT PRACTICE WASHING OF HANDS OR CLEAN AREA ANYWHERE IN THERE, this is your spot!!!

I went on Saturday night one or smelled really bad in their and then I ordered a ice coffee I have started drinking it when I saw ants floating to the top I was so disgusted after that, we looked up and saw dead bugs in the light fixture and the Floors was disgusting. The worker was very nice and was working by her self and then later other workers came in but they looked like that just got out of bed and threw on anything the owner should be ashamed of the appearance of that ihop

Waiter took a long time with the restaurant being empty. Forgot multiple times and food came out wrong.Eggs we’re crusted over butter was hard and crumbly and waiter said the grits might be bad because it was his first time preparing them. When me and my grandma complained waiter said cooks were too lazy to make the grits and we were discounted at all. Very dissatisfied.

The dining room was filthy with unbussed tables of dirty dishes and smelled of severe gas, the floors had silverware and other debris in the walkway. There were 2 waiters on duty with 10 people in the whole restaraunt. The manager was sitting most of the time while the dining room looked a mess. The ceiling tiles have water damage and the overall appearance is rundown. Once I got my fresh blueberry French toast there were 6 blueberries on my plate. The service and food were horrible however I still left the waiter $4. I will not return.

IHOP usually never misses but this location...I'm giving 1 star for the building itself. Whoever designed this IHOP was trippin. The restroom is right next to the front register, no privacy wall or anything. Which means it always has the strongest restroom smell lingering around the whole front dining area, all in your mouth when you are just tryna eat and in your drinking straw. I'm good lol. I'll drive up the road to the other location. Hopefully they can resolve that.
