Houston's - Pasadena

This is a fantastic steakhouse with an elegant atmosphere. You absolutely must try the artichoke appetizer; it features perfectly roasted artichokes that you peel leaf by leaf, dip into a delightful sauce, and savor the tender tips. It was a wonderful experience! The Hawaiian ribeye steak was outstanding, and their dry martinis were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for a classic and satisfying meal.

Upon our arrival, the host was extremely helpful and got us set up on the waitlist. Once we were notified that our table was almost ready, we came inside to check in and wait. While we were waiting, another host approached us to see if we wanted to order some cocktails, which we loved. Shortly after we received our drinks, we were escorted to our table. From the moment we sat down until we received the check, the service was exceptional. Our waiter, Karla, was professional and always attentive, making our dining experience truly memorable. The artichokes were delicious, as was the rest of the food and the cocktails. We will definitely be coming back again!

We had a wonderful experience at Houston's. For starters, we were a walk in ground of three and our wait time was estimated at 30 minutes. As you are waiting they have a waitress come and take a drink order so even though you are waiting for your table, you are still getting service. Sitting with a drink next to the indoor Koi pond was something that you just don't see in a typical restaurant. We waited maybe 20 minutes before getting ushered to our table. Once we got tothe table, the wait staff came by with fresh, cold cocktail glasses and poured our drinks into the new chilled glasses. This is something that I have never seen done, and I quite like it. For starters, we got the Grilled Artichoke and theSpinach and Artichoke dip (both are must haves). My dinner was the Dings Crispy Chicken Sandwich. This absolutely exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be getting that again. For desert we had the sundae which was good, but yourstandard desert. End of the day, I would choose to eat at Houston's over many of the options in the area.

We had a meal for three that came to $222 before tip, which included two steaks, pork ribs, two salads, chili soup, and an $8 loaf of bread. The overall experience was excellent—both the service and the food were fantastic, with the steaks cooked to perfection. The 1.5-hour wait on Saturday evening, arriving at 5:30 PM, was certainly worth it. For dessert, we enjoyed a delicious apple walnut cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. There's plenty of free parking available, and the dimly lit interior creates a romantic atmosphere. Our server, Brandon K., was outstanding—helpful, professional, and attentive. Thank you, Brandon!

The best pork I ever tasted, and I didn't even order it. I love my head rib, but this one.
