Just a short wait on a Sunday night in this cozy yet clean place. Diverse range of families, couples and singles that night. Food is very good. Each table is given a complimentary cucumber garlic cold appetizer. The hand pulled noodles are the star attraction. They are springy and soft with a slight chewiness. We ordered noodles in a beef soup; broth was excellent but the pieces of beef were a little skimpy and rough. There is a window to the chef making the pulled noodles and the TV has a looped video featuring this and their desserts. Scallion pancakes were also on point; toasty on the outside, flavourful and layers come apart. I didn't love the fried rice because it was a bit too oily but the kids didn't seem to care. Soup dumplings were very good. The wrapping was not too thick and the soup filling was tasty. Overall, I would recommend coming for the noodles and the dumplings! Plenty of free parking and wheelchair accessible. The entrance is right off the highway (eastbound) so it's easy to miss.
I love this place! The noodles/sauces are great, and the beef pancake is a favorite in my family too. I especially like the spicy dishes, although this most recent time I ordered mapo tofu and spicy pork noodles, and both were unusually mild? It was a takeout order, so I ended up adding my own doubanjiang and chili oil at home. I hope it was just a one-off, and that the kitchen isn't planning to permanently tone down their spicy dishes.
Very good flavor and service. That’s real Chinese flavor
The best kind of hole in the wall eatery that just makes good food at a great price..
These reviews and photos are misleading, in my opinion. I traveled 40 min and my food was meh at best. I can't see the hype. Spicy cumin lamb noodles , house noodle soup, disappointing, cucumber salad pieces were soft. Scallion pancakes, Ive had way better. One dish left to try, braised beef noodle soup. Sorry, this was a no for my family.
