Frank Son Pizzeria - Parsippany

“Great neighborhood restaurant…” It’s conveniently located near our apartment, so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the owner, who is Italian, runs the place with his family. We ordered the chicken pasta with penne vodka sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. On another visit, we tried their pizza, and that was quite good as well. While it may not be widely known, I definitely recommend it, particularly for the pasta.

The pizza here is excellent, though the atmosphere can be a bit quiet and somewhat awkward. I used to live nearby, and I always enjoyed their delicious pizza and one of the best cakes in the area. My experience was slightly different, as I visited the restaurant at night. It felt a bit like stepping into someone's home—probably because the family seems to reside in the same building. The interior was often empty, and Grandma could often be seen at a nearby table as you picked up your pizza. There was something nostalgic about the place, almost like traveling back to a small-town pizzeria from the 1990s. It might just be my own perception, but the ambiance felt strangely off and very quiet. However, it’s not a major issue for me since I didn’t dine in. That was three years ago, so it's possible things have changed (though I doubt it). Overall, the pizza is a bit quirky but still worth a try.

Nice place, good pizza. I use to live the street of this place, and it was always the place where I wanted good pizza. I really enjoy this place.

Went with my son for a little bonding time over pizza. We got the large pie with mushrooms and sausage and it was delicious. We were served fairly rapidly and the price was fair so I'd rate it a great value. Very friendly and good atmosphere.
