McDonald's - Parry Sound

The floors and bathrooms at this McDonald's were the dirtiest I have ever seen. The service was slow and the food did not meet my expectations.

Every time I go to the drive-thru to order my soda, I ask for soda water. Each time, they tell me they don't have that option, even though I know they do. I have to explain to the cashier that it's not an option on their system and they have to apply the ask-at-the-window option. One day, the cashier refused to do this and I had to repeat myself six times. I may have gotten frustrated because how do you make soda without carbonated water? I paid at the window and moved up to the next window, where the grumpy manager yelled at me not to tell her staff how to do their job. If they were properly trained, I wouldn't have to explain how to use their system. I did not use profanity or raise my voice. It's important to listen when someone is trying to explain something, rather than neglect a simple request. I can't be the only one who asks for soda water. The staff is friendly during the day, but after 6pm, they become rude. Even when I start off politely and tip, they need to learn basic customer service skills.

Once again, there was no gravy available so I couldn't get my poutine. This has happened three times now. It's good to know that Harvey's always has gravy! The MacDonald's here is very busy and poutine is a popular item on the menu.

I used the mobile ordering app to place my meal. The food was a standard McDonalds meal which was a quick bite to eat. I had a Big Mac. The floors were dirty and greasy. The establishment had a few flies.

I went thru the drive thru and ordered a hamburg with extra pickleS, and poutine. When I went to the window to pick it up,my order was basically thrown at me and the window slammed shut. I waited until the attendant reopened the window and asked for some ketchup and she said you should have asked for ketchup when you placed your order. Very rude...but the food was hot and fresh.
