Thai I M Restaurant - Parramatta

Although we didn't dine at Thai I m in Parramatta, the quality of their food still shone through in their takeaway menu. We ordered our favourite Green Chicken Curry & Beef Penang. Both dishes arrived at our hotel hot and the servings were very generous. In fact, even though we only ordered a small rice between us my partner and I struggled to finish everything. Considering their prices were way more reasonable than most of the other options, they did not skimp on the meat and it was very tender. Just have one thing to mention though. Does every Asian dish have to have those baby corns and bamboo shoots? Everyone knows they're just there to bulk out the meal and we would have preferred more fresh vegetables rather than something straight out of a can. Having said that the flavour made up for it and I definitely would recommend them as a good value Thai takeaway. BTW. The name is one of the best I've heard in years!

We went as a group to this tiny restaurant but booked first. Just as well as limited seating and very popular. As a group we managed to taste a wide range of dishes and all passed the taste test. Its BYO another thing in its favour. Prices for mains are very reasonable with the majority just under $20. The whole fish is dearer but well worth the price.

Full score! Great food quality, friendly & excellent service, vegan & vegetarian choices and very fair prices. A restaurant for everybody!

Its a must go place if you are on budget or a quick meal. I have seen it transform in last 5 years. Never have been disappointed.

We dined here recently and the food was very delicious. The restaurant itself is very small. The kitchen is in direct view of the seating, but this gave it a personalised touch. The food came out in reasonable time. There was one waitress, who appeared to also be involved in the cooking process and as such didn't check on the diners often. Food was not bad, the Pad Tom Yum was very nice (and spicy). Be warned this is not on the main trip of Church Street, its further down and adjacent to Ross Street - something we overlooked.
