Paper Plane - Parramatta

A great Parramatta local that I've been coming to for a few years. Highly recommend their truffled eggs for breakie and any of their burgers for lunch

We've been wanting to try this place out for a while as it was recommended plus it was coming up in suggestions on my Facebook newsfeed. After reading quite a lot of reviews I opted for some of the highly recommended choices, which were the Midnight Cuban sandwich and the fresh orange juice. The midnight cuban was quite nice, nothing amazing but it was a pleasant lunch. I would recommend the fresh orange juice, could have done without the ice cubes in Winter though.The pros;Good location, seated quickly and table water brought out straight away. Order also taken very quickly.The cons;One out of the three meals was brought out in under 10 minutes..... but the other two meals were no where to be seen. After 10 minutes of waiting for the next lot of food we had to ask about the meals and then they were finally brought out 5 minutes later. It looks like they forgot to make the rest of the order, which is annoying when you're on a work lunch break and only have 1 hour to spare.In summary, I would go back..... on a weekend when I have plenty of time and next time i'll try breakfast instead.

On our way to another cafe, this one caught my eye. Blackboards and quotes, with menus and waitresses, this was a little bit different. Service was efficient, and the food was very good. Standout was the freshly squeezed OJ - to die for. Worth dropping in to.

This was my first visit for a quick breakfast. Paper Plane is smartly designed with a blackboard along the back wall, with the menu and specials displayed. It has large doors/ windows that are open, to more tables on the pavement under a large verandah. Suited to all weathers. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered I think they call a BAB, avocado, egg, bacon, sourdough toast, rocket and peas. It was a little different, but great. The only downside, was the lack of flexibility to order a combination of breakfast the way I like it. But, otherwise, would return.

Had a friend rave about this place and their Cuban sandwich... unfortunately they had run out of their pulled pork but were very quick to suggest to substitute the pork for steak. Overall the meal was quite pleasant and their bad boy chips addictive.
