Harry's Cafe De Wheels - Parramatta

I have been coming to this place since l came to Australia. I've tried many other places to have a nice pie like what they have here but they all failed.

Walking up church street North Parramatta the logo of Harry's cafe de wheels shines its light and beckons the passerby to enter. The industrial steel clad cafe is a buzz when we arrive around 6 on a Sunday night. Good sign.We ordered, not the expected tiger or other pie combos, but the beef rolls with the works and the chilli con carne chips.Both dishes we ordered take away.Wow, the serving sizes are great. Good value and filling! A bit of a word about the chilli, if you like heat ask for the chilli and cheese sauces on top of the con carne- .Enjoyed our meals, and will return.

I ordered a veggie pie and it was yummy. Being vegetarian I thought they either don't have any option or it wouldn't be good enough. However their quest for quality is same for veg options too. Conveniently located with plenty of parking space.

Harry's Cafe De Wheels is very popular and most people love it. But personally I don't really get why it is so popular. It is open early until late. It has a good broad menu. And the pies are pretty good, though the coffee is average. That being said I have been here 3 times in the 2 months.

An Australian pie is always a great lunch. Harry's has some delicious choices. Their pies are flakey and full of flavor. Prices ~$5 the are affordable as well.
