Chilli Jam - Parramatta

Had a poor experience lately when the waitress got pissy about me using a groupon voucher. She was very rude and her makeup made her look kinda evil.This used to be my favourite thai place in Parramatta but about a year ago they increased their prices and started serving dishes in weird plates with small serving size.So... $18 for a pad se ew with a tiny serving size so it doesn't even fill you up and an unfriendly waitress making you feel guilty for coming in and paying them money. The flavour was very good, but I won't be going back to this place for a long while.

Pro: Overall, for a local Thai, it offered Great taste dishes, fast serving speed, and We can't complain that. But compared to another our favourite Thai: the "Holy Basil", this Chilli Jam is on the pricier side.Cons: the kankong is very old and chewy. Rice portion is a bit too small, and charged $3.5 each, we have 3 people dined in, end up paying $14 dollars just for steam rice. Next time if we want I think we will just order from Menulog at home and eat our own rice.

We went to Chilli Jam for dinner in early April for dinner. The service was great and the food we ordered were delicious. We had Tilapia in ginger and sesame sauce, Green curry chicken and seafood curry hotpot. The portions of the food were generous and delicious particularly Tilapia in ginger and sesame sauce. However, the price is a bit expensive compare to the nearby Thai restaurants in Parramatta.

Reasonably priced Thai-South East Asian cuisine. There were two of us and we tried a variety of dishes and all were very good if not slightly toned down for western tastes. We both enjoy Thai food and we would return to Chilli Jam

Hubby and I walked 'the strip' on Church at not quite knowing what we felt like eating... Decided here looked good. And it was the best decision ever! Service was prompt and friendly. Food was delicious And fresh! I had the roast duck salad - to die for!!! Hubby had prawn pad Thai which was one of the best we've had. Yummmmm !!!!!! We will be back for sure!
