Pizzeria Al Petitot - PARMA

We were here a dinner and, except pizza and pasta, they offer local cousin "Torta fritta" gluten-free. You should try it because it is a typical dish of this region and this city.

This was absolutely fantastic and worth the detour from the city center. The food was amazing, best we had during our holiday. Would highly recommend the cappelletti and crema catalana. Also had the fried dumplings you see everywhere in town, which are really nice. They put a piece of carrot on the plate to mark it as gluten free. One plate missed the carrot and they took it very seriously to ask the kitchen what happen. Apparently the carrot had fallen off the plate. Lovely staff that don't speak a single word of English, but are very patient. With our three words of Italian and some gestures we had a terrific night here. Would highly recommend this place!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Waiter said most things on the menu could be made gluten free but we stuck with the gluten free pizza since that’s what the gluten-free locals were eating. It was delicious and caused no problems. The waiter was great about recommending gluten-free dessert. For the rest of those in our group, eating regular food, they loved everything as well. For those looking for keto options there are meat entrees that would fill your needs if you can pass on all the carb temptations.
