Krispy Krunchy Chicken

Stopped here to grab some breakfast on the way out for a long drive and Sue was the one to help me. She was beyond nice and very helpful. I give her customer service a 20/10. She was very attentive and offered all the sauces.

I stopped going to KFC, Chick-fil-A, and Popeyes for awhile. I avoid MSG. Those other brands are full of it. Its been proven that large amounts of MSG is bad for your health. Although I grew up on Church's Texas Chicken, they been having negative ratings for hygiene in town. I've heard a lot of good things about Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I wanted to know if it's legit. It's inside of Circle K. This is all new to me. I wasn't disappointed. It was better than what I expected. It's all in the breading. The thigh was the moistest. The crumbly honey biscuit is the best around, it's not dry what so ever like the other ones. I don't eat pork. I forget the jambalaya had andouille. Don't know what the sausage was made out of. Probably the red beans rice is a better option. Besides that, everything was flavorsome. It's not Bonchon Chicken or Jollibee, but they make some good Cajun fried chicken from Louisiana. The only thing is the chicken is fried in peanut oil and that might be bad for your health, but it's not like a lot of shops use avacado oil so everything in moderation.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken is my new go-to chicken fast food to-go place. They have the very best fried chicken with the quickest service. I can usually get my order to-go in a couple of minutes on my way home. The fried chicken here is better than KFC. Also, it's better than Popeye Chicken most of the time, but much faster for sure. The order counter inside Circle K is clean and displayed very well. Parking is very easy too.

The place is in a gas station.Order their mixed 4 pc fried chicken 1 biscuit meal deal for $8.79. Asked the if the 4 pc includes a breast piece. No it didn't include a breast piece. I was told they stop including the breast piece this morning. So for the mixed 4 pc, you get 1 thigh, 2 drum stick, and 1 wing (white meat portion). I change my order to dark 4 pc order. The fried chicken is no better than what you can pickup at Safeway, Raleys, etc. Where can you go to get a decent tasting mixed 4 pc fried chicken meal that includes breast?

Too salty, not enough garlic. I wouldn't say its as good as Popeye's or KFC, just a step above grocery store fried chicken.
