Our first visit was not that great so we gave it another shot...No one is working and the place is dirty.. the dead plants Make it seem like they don't clean the place very well... Not appetizing while you're waiting for your food looking at a dirty shelf of unfolded merch and dry dead Christmas plants.. With that said our service we received was slow, meat is dry taco shells are cold and hard to chew The chips we received wereburnt and mostly broken..Pretty disappointing and expensive, will not be back.
My experience at Chandos Tacos was just good.. The food was great, chips and guacamole was not fresh and the lady that was my cashier tells me We have to use these first before we sell fresh ones! lastly I asked for water and she says We don 't have cups.. but they did have over priced bottled drinks 1 Jarritos glass bottle $3.50. Overall it was good but I might venture to some of the other authentic Mexican food places in the area.
Not so great. Had chicken flautas , nice presentation but flavorless? just shredded chicken inside corn tortillas with sour cream and lettuce and some tomato sauce no flavor just blah. Service was good and clean location but sorry I expected better.
Take the plunge. Do it. Go to Chando's. I have NEVER been disappointed. Delicious, authentic and satisfying. Carne asada Mulitas (I don't like guacamole or onion) carnitas torta (no guac, onion, lettuce or tomato). Meat is tender and flavorful. Go. Now. Hurry. You're welcome. ????
Stood in line for 15 minutes. The menu is mounted in a little cubby hole at the back, facing sideways, so you can't even read it until you are at the register. Even if it did face out, the font is too small to read from a distance, anyway. So everyone had to wait to figure out their order until they were standing at the register, making the line last forever. They were out of carnitas, which was why I went. Ended up with the chorizo burrito. It was 90% lettuce and onions. What little chorizo there was in it was a thin smear of goo, the texture of tomato paste. Maybe that's by design, but chorizo I've had in past had some texture, like ground sausage or ground beef. Not smooth paste. It was so bad I had tothrow it away after eating about a quarter of it. My wife did like her beef nachos, however. So they get credit for that, although I tasted it and it was pretty bland.
