A gem place for book lovers. Very nice environment, kids friendly, good drinks and various types of books for your choices. They have a discount book section and a small gift store within as well. Highly recommended.

Can't believe elk Grove only has one bookstore but I'm glad this is it. Support small business, this shop is irreplaceable Update to include food/drink review bc I had it to-goThe chorizo avocado toast was SO GOOD chorizo sausage, I've never had before, perfect amount of spicy. Delicious beignets, generous sauce. And a truly energized oatmilk caramel latte, id forgotten what a not Dutch bros coffee could taste like ?? so good

Love this bookstore! They have a cafe inside with lots of yummy snacks, sandwiches, and drinks. They serve Grateful Bread products, which is a local Sac bakery. There are lots of tables, free Wi-Fi, and they encourage you to come in and study/work at their tables. All the employees are beyond nice.

We just discovered this place! Excellent Cappucino. Surrounded by books, the atmosphere reminds me of San Francisco coffee houses in the 1970s. It's a place of peace: a nice alternative to chain franchise assembly line coffee outlets.We are coming again for that peaceful respite moment in the day.
