Contribuiți la feedbackI tried the chicken chow mein and it was fantastic. Make sure you come hungry as they offer both Western and Chinese dishes. They also have a license to serve beer.
This is a neighborhood dive bar and lounge in a remote location. It is characterized by its dated decor, with one TV and furniture from the 1970s. However, it does have a patio. The establishment is run by Chinese management and attracts a predominantly blue-collar clientele. The restaurant next door was not visited, but there is a confectionary and gas station in close proximity.
Ordering at this restaurant was a bit complicated. I had the cheeseburger with fries, which seemed to be a pre-made frozen patty. It was decent, but not worth going out of your way for. It's a shame because the potential for this place to be really good is there. The rye bread and coleslaw were tasty though.
Such a shame they have changed their breakfast hours to 10 am! Seriously who eats breakfast at 10 in the morning?? Used to go as much as possible because their breakfast is awesome but now must resort to going to Alberta Beach. They should really re assess their marketing strategy to suit the needs of the community
I live within the community so I though to get a beer at the local watering hole. It smells like barn and it has about six tables. There is a little pool table in the back, and the place looks like it was furnished from materials ripped out prior to a demo. I don't think I would get much beyond some wings or fries there, and maybe a few beers on a weekend or after a night out of the lake. I personally would prefer to drive into Wabamun or evansburg, or stony for a meal.
