I tried gin for the first time at Workshop 55 and it surpassed any other place I have had gin before. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The bar staff was very knowledgeable about gin and treated me to a variety of infused gin and tonic combinations using different gins and tonics from around the world. It was an absolute delight and I plan to return for many celebratory nights. I loved it.
Wow! What an experience. Food is original and fresh. Service is top class Thabo was phenomenal personal attention by the owner. And not to forget the star of the evening GIN superlative. Highly recommend the ostrich curried lentils Korean pulled pork. For dessert the doughnut and caramel tart.
One of the best Gin experiences I've had, the staff were knowledgable and the food was amazing, there has been a lot of thought gone into the decor so take some time and have a look at the lighting and special choice wall paper/wall murals all in all a great night out well done to Gary and his team
An amazing experience from the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out. The service received from Scotch our waiter was undeniably great. The food was beyond delicious. The vibe was very much like you were in a snazzy Cape Town restaurant. I cannot wait to go back!
