Espresso - Parkhurst iNingizimu Afrika

This restaurant is one of our favorites. We frequently order the chicken prego and calzone Maria. The peri peri sauce is phenomenal - we wish we could buy it. I have never had a chicken prego as delicious as the one here. The chicken is tender and full of flavor. Even when we try something different from our usual dishes, the food is always exceptional. The service is also good. They now accept Zapper, making it convenient to pay without cash.

Great food selection. Lovely calamari and my husband loves their pizzas. Not a big selection of craft beers which are over priced .NO cards accepted though which makes it a bit annoying.

Just had the most amazing calzone at Espresso. perfectly cooked, unbelievable flavour, absolutely unreal. My wife had veal and my daughter an Alfredo pasta, just spectacular. Our waiter has been attentive and quick to help, all in all a great dining experience.

This bustling restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, serving up delicious pizzas and drinks. Please note that they only accept cash, but there is a Standard Bank ATM available on-site. The staff are excellent, and we had a fantastic evening!

There is no better place to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Johannesburg. On a Saturday afternoon, you will find all the influential people here. They do not take reservations or credit cards, but that does not deter their loyal customers. Grab a table outside, order some bottles of wine, and enjoy watching the neighborhood go by for a few hours. Make sure to try anything with their peri peri sauce - it is delicious.
