Marty's Restaurant - Parkes

First time diners here and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff are super friendly yet professional and efficient. Meals were great. Lamb Shanks were top class.

The restaurant has a good ambiance upon entering. The food was satisfactory, resembling pub fare. It was a convenient choice for us after a day of traveling and sightseeing. The portion size of the hot breakfast was generous, allowing us to skip lunch. Additionally, the prices were reasonable.

During my stay at the North Parkes Motel, I dined at this restaurant 8 out of the 10 nights. The traditional menu items were cooked perfectly and served by friendly and helpful staff who were happy to accommodate special requests. Despite trying other desserts, I found myself coming back for the heavenly chocolate pudding every night.

The restaurant offers a simple Australian menu, with no complaints. The service was good and very friendly, particularly thanks to young Aaron who made us feel welcome. The restaurant is located in the Country Comfort Motel, owned by friendly owners. The motel has around 36 rooms and an indoor pool that is about 18 meters long, as well as a spa and a kiddie pool.
