The Cocktail - Parkersburg

I visited for the first time on a girls' night, and it was genuinely the best food and drinks I’ve ever experienced! I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend the Mountain Mama drink and the chicken bowtie pasta.

I visited this restaurant because I was enticed by the menu I saw on Facebook, hoping to enjoy the baked Bie and a Red Snapper entree. However, upon my arrival tonight, I found that neither dish was available. When I inquired, the waitress informed me that they had updated their menu three weeks ago. I believe it's important for a business to reflect any menu changes online and on social media. Instead, I opted for the Margherita flatbread pizza, which turned out to be quite disappointing; the crust was soggy from an excessive amount of pizza sauce. The sauce completely overpowered the cheese and minced basil. While the atmosphere and service were decent, and I did appreciate the jazz, I doubt I'll return.

I recently relocated to the area from the West Coast and had some out-of-town guests visiting, so we were on a mission to find somewhere special to take them. We truly struck gold with The Cocktail Bar! The ambiance was fantastic and clean, and the staff was outstanding, taking the time to explain the unique drinks we ordered as they prepared them. Dottie, our mixologist, was incredibly friendly and made the ordering process enjoyable. She provided a step-by-step breakdown of each drink we chose. I can honestly say it was the best Old Fashioned I've ever had. This is definitely a must-visit spot, and the prices were very reasonable. We will certainly make it a point to stop by whenever friends and family come to town.

My husband and I spent Valentine’s Day celebrating at The Cocktail Bar and it did NOT disappoint. It’s a rare occasion for us to get out these day having 4 kids so we wanted to really make it count. The service was absolutely perfect. Our server Dottie was so sweet and stayed on top of it all! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and we savored every bite! We highly recommend coming here for any occasion big or small. You will not regret it! You can tell the owner takes great pride in what he’s created here! 10/10

Best place to go when you want to get out in the town. Super food, fun atmosphere !
