A Little Cake - Park Ridge

A little cake has done an amazing job on our wedding cake! Their designs fit perfectly to our vision, and they were very helpful to us in finding the right size cake topper. Leo made the whole process from beginning to end. The cake tasting was a fun experience, and we were so glad that they had us a tasting (most bakeries canceled due to COVID). Many guests told us that it was the best wedding cake they ever had! Very recommended - we will definitely use A Little Cake for our future events!

A small cake filled and surpassed my cake expectations. My fiancée and I engaged Christmas Eve 2021 and my mother wanted to throw us an engagement party. While I love the food we chose, I wanted to do something special for cakes/dessert. A big foliage cake would just not do. I originally chose to help a local provider as it was important for us to support small businesses, but they dropped the ball on communication. I had a vision for a custom cake and cupcakes to complement themes and colors. Aesthetics was super important, but more important was to taste for the cakes amazing. A small cake repeatedly on local Facebook page suggestions. I came out and the whole process was very simple and professional. They worked with me on the vision and filled in the gaps where I was not sure what to do. Vanessa especially was super helpful. They even delivered directly to our place and saved us so much time and stress. My only constructive feedback is that I wished a notification or warning a little before payment. I got a call on the day of payment and felt that I had to choke a bit when I wanted to pay the bill in cash. This is more on me, but would like to see how this memory happens. The cakes were all so delicious, we especially loved our tie cakes with the funfetti cake and old fashion fudge filling. I look forward to working with them again for our wedding.

We had our wedding on 10/10/21 and used a small cake for our wedding cake and our donut to go station! Everything was absolutely perfect. The team was a pleasure to work with the design of our cake and make our ideas a reality! We are huge Disney fans and were able to integrate hidden microphones into our cakes to have a special Disney touch while the elegance we wanted. Also our Donut to go Station was a hit! We had a variety of donuts for everyone to take the path that the guests absolutely loved. We will use them in the future for all our big parties!

Overall very happy with my experience ordered two custom cakes from A Little Cake. E-mailed her contact form and asked for size suggestions for ~20 people birthday party to celebrate two milestone birthdays in the house. The reactions were fast and thorough, and they helped me to bring the perfect designs to life. My only comment for the feedback was that on the pickup day, I was surprised by the use of paper order clips to track pickup, especially when it seemed that they had 40-50 orders for pickup this day. As a result, I waited a while for my name to be found in the stack. But hasn't got a really great experience.

I ordered a cake from them for my cousins bridal shower. They exceeded all expectations. The cake was delicious and of course it also looked beautiful. They made the cake look exactly how we wanted it to and couldn’t have asked for a better cake. HIGHLY Recommend using a little cake for any occasion.
