Contribuiți la feedbackI would give this a 2 1/2 star. I really didn't want to do this review because the staff was so amazing and nice. They were friendly and attentive. The ambience was awesome beautiful! The food. Not so good. I definitely would have been more pissed at myself if I would have paid full price instead of the $40 dino round 3 course meal. After drinks tip it was $80 . Cucumber mint sakatini- They bring out the glass empty, with a cucumber purée on the bottom. The liquid comes in a shaker with ice. It has alcohol and saki in it. Really watered down. It tasted almost like a cucumber water. Did fill up two glasses though. They give you a snack while you wait. This was actually my favorite part. The deep fried wontons were served with a mustard sauce. The mustard sauce had a curry taste to it. Really good. Appetizer- Pork buns. They were really dry, and a bit on the colder side. First course- Me and my friend shared the shrimp tempura braised pork belly. The pork belly was hard to cut thru, very dry. Tasted as if it was made hours ago, and left under the heat lamp. The shrimp tempura tasted like some thing I would get from sizzler. Flavorless. Even with the sauce. Second course- Beet and heirloom tomato salad with a crouton. The beets tasted as if they came straight from a Kroger can and tomatoes lightly seasoned. The crouton was hard to bite through and was hard to chew. I was very disappointed in this dish. I was hoping for something that was extraordinary to my taste buds. I am a terrible cook and could put this together in one minute at my house. Third course- Grilled beef tenderloins. This is where I got really confused. It went from an Asian restaurant, then turned into a steakhouse for this dish. The mashed potatoes were really good, along with the vegetables. The medallions were very tender. They seemed they were drenched in butter, then drizzled with butter. Tasted like beef soaked in butter. It really is a beautiful restaurant. The outside patio has heaters when it is cold. The lights outside were amazing. I probably would not return : I'm really sorry. But staff was so kind and nice.
This is my number one restaurant in park city. Very fun menu. We ordered nearly every appetizer and a few entrees. Favorite was the ribs and the miso cod. So so yummy The duck lettuce wraps and the crab buns were also phenomenal The seafood ramen was just ok. The lobster didn't have any flavor. Overall love this spot
I wasn't expecting much from Wahso since it only had 3.5 stars, but then I tried the food, and my taste buds did a little happy dance!! MY FOOD WAS AMAZING. I ordered scallops, which were served with pasta, baby bok choy, carrots, other veggies, and the most delicious, flavorful sauce! After I took my first bite, I basically died. It was amazing. Everyone who tried my food said that it was the best dish of the table! You've gotta order the scallops if you come here! Our waiter served us complementary fried wonton skins with a mustard sauce. They were really yummy, and it was the perfect amount of food to get our appetites going. Then, we also ordered salads. The Asian pear romaine salad was good, and the coconut crab salad (wasn't as much of a traditional salad was delicious! The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. We ate at an in-the-open table, but I noticed some private, more intimate tables with curtains. They look like they would be pretty nice for a more romantic dinner! There was also outdoor seating on a patio. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. As we paid, our waiter brought us chocolate-dipped fortune cookies. It was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. Go try out Wahso, and PLEASE do me a favor and try the scallops. (also, beware...this place is a little on the pricey side! $44 per entree. Worth it though!
Ok you guys, so we had an almost over-stimulating experience at Wahso. Chef Rafael Zamora prepared us an 8 course meal to celebrate my birthday. You guys make the trip to Historic Park City Utah to experience this amazing gourmet Asian grill!
Great atmosphere and service for a cute date night! The food is very unique and tasty. We ordered the Waugu Filet and the Lobster and Steak Ramen (with hot sauce). Our server, Adam, was very professional and accommodating. The Cucumber Saketini is a MUST TRY!!! I was hesitant because I'm not a sake lover, but you cannot even taste the same!
