Great Harvest Bread Co. - Park City

That was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had while ordering food. I ordered two cold turkey sandwiches and two cookies, and the cashier repeated my order back to me three times, asking, "Wait, what sandwich again? Turkey?" I specified it was just a plain, classic turkey sandwich from the menu. It took nearly 30 minutes to receive my order, and there was no line to explain the wait. When I checked my bag after they handed it to me, I found two hot sandwiches with pesto hastily thrown together—not what I ordered at all. Since there was no one else in line, it was clear there was no mix-up in orders. They also gave us the wrong cookies. Due to how long it was taking, I didn’t think it was worth waiting for them to correct the mistakes. We love Great Harvest and were really looking forward to our favorite items, but unfortunately, we didn’t get the sandwiches or cookies we had ordered. It seemed like no one working was over 18 years old, which might have contributed to the issues.

We always look forward to visiting when we're in town. The bread is still the best around. I want to give it 5 stars, but the selection can be inconsistent. I had a frosted blueberry scone yesterday that was disappointing—the icing was overly thick, making it hard to taste the scone itself. Nevertheless, we still picked up a loaf of white bread and a cinnaburst.

As soon as you step inside, the aroma of freshly baked goods greets you! We ordered sandwiches— I opted for the vegetarian sandwich, while my boyfriend chose the turkey sandwich. Both were delicious, and the variety of bread was fantastic. The staff behind the counter were incredibly friendly, and the selection of baked treats was impressive. We indulged in cinnamon rolls and cookies, and even picked up some granola trail mix for snacking later. I ended up getting oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and a blondie bar topped with dark chocolate, which was just the best! I really appreciate the daily rotation of cookies and baked treats they offer—it keeps things exciting and delicious!

I've been craving a fresh sandwich for weeks, and the Iron Horse roast beef really satisfied my appetite. The wheat bread is among the softest and most delicious I've ever had from a small bakery. I also took six cinnamon rolls to share at my other job, and they were absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for a sandwich and some coffee. My days off are quite limited since I work a lot, but I’ll definitely be back on my next day off!
