Rotondebastille - Parisot

The service is reallly good but the food isn’t that much crazy for the price. We paid 2 glass of whine for 32 € it was way to much! I ordered some pastas and ricotta and mushrooms and my friend ordered some fresh tuna steak and there was no sauce it was dry as f*ck ! Really disappointed !

Went for drinks with my boyfriend, ordered a martini from their menu and a moscow mule for him, we ordered doubles as we wanted to begin a night out. When the drinks arrived, they were basically juice in a pint glass, very weak and the martini was nothing like a proper martini at all. We were shocked at the grotesque size of the drinks as well as the watery taste. We eventually finished the drinks and asked for the bill, which was a wopping €50. For two drinks. When we inspected the bill, we saw that we had been charged double the price of the beverages. Instead of doubling the alcohol content and slightly upping the price, they had completely doubled everything in the drink as well as the price. The drinks were in no way worth 50 euros and nor was the service.

Impossible to be at 6 at a table outside ! 4 or 8 is ok but 6 they stopped serving us and asked us to leave ! what a Parisian welcome !!

We were staying very near this corner brasserie. During evenings the streets this side of Bastille are quite noisy, busy rather skuzzy. I think it's cheap for young drinkers clubbers.. But, we found during the day the area is very interesting: boutiques, artisan food shops, artsy, quite hipster-ish. Our last breakfast we wandered into Rotonde. It occupies a good corner spot and has tables outside. Staff charming. Loos clean. Food very good reasonable. We had egg white omelettes and bread, butter. Delicious, perfectly cooked. Good coffee too. I would happily eat here again during the day but the evening cocktail scene isn't for me... I'm probably just too old would rather cross to the Marais!! Do walk up Rue Roquette to Alelier des Lumieres on to Pere Lachaise. A very interesting day.

Great place to have breakfast , the service was very good and the breakfast was very fresh and well served and prepared !
