Apparently there are a total of four Uighur restaurants in Paris; we were told that this one has been open seven months. Some of the cuisine feels familiar, especially from Afghan Mongolian perspectives polo is basically pilau/pilaf, with carrot; also various varieties of kebab, noodles,...stir fried meat and so on. My own dish was a miss mash of chopped up noodles, meat and sweetcorn, and to be honest it satisfied my hunger but was nothing particular to write home about. OTOH other members of the party really enjoyed dishes that resembled Afghan mantu and stir fried meat/peppers. We finished with some spiced chai; mixed clientele, including some Uighur folk and locals. Fairly close to Metro Cadet; service was friendly and they happily explained menu items. The 3 review is not meant to be damning, more an indication that they are still finding their feet. I 'd give it another go, for sure.
Nice place with food from China/Kyrgyzstan Uighur region. Hearty and good. Why not to try something new in Paris?
A small kitchen known to discover. It is excellent and the welcome is very pleasant.
Plats un peu épicés et bonnes brochettes d'agneau. Le service est un peu lent car il n'y a qu'une seule serveuse et la salle est presque pleine. Sinon c'est très bon pour découvrir la cuisine du 新疆
