I know they can say how this can be exceptional, but every ingredient was perfect on its up and down just made something special. I also tried the quiche lorraine that was baked for perfection. smoked speck with light crispy pastries and a rich creamy cheese that fills what is a quiche lorraine, but I fail to meet the explosion more intense aromen. the vennoiserie looked spectacular and the different brioche was very seductive, but instead I left myself for a classic strawberry teat. crispy pts au sucre with diplomatic cream filling and fragrant strawberries. they can't go wrong with it, but again it was made with love and carefree and was probably the best tartelette I had for a long time (except for myself of course; I want to back soon because they have much more products to test ill probably need a few weeks research there. I have to get rid of it. go there and go there, which is an order.
The baked and cakes are good, fresh and recommended, but don't spend their money on hot drinks here. I ordered a cappuccino and a cafe-au-lait and both were placed on a small plastic cup (used for water) they pay close to one. dieucks price, get served by the amount and have to drink it from a thin plastic cup. when I asked if they did not have a right cup to serve a proper drink, the answer was: glass brakes and the size is so (for real, it served me a cappuccino the size of a double espresso). Conclusion: Yes, take your croissant/pain au chocolat here, don't waste your money in a hot drink.
We were in a hotel close by and went there a few tomorrow to get our breakfast. we have a few different types of croissants, brioche and baguettes and everything was so fresh and delicious! so glad we don't have breakfast buffet in the hotel. this bakery is really amazing!
Tables outside, tables inside. Want breakfast? Wonderful croissants, pain au chocolat etc. Need a quick lunch? Sandwiches, salads, quiches to choose from. Everybody is smiling, your pocket book is happy. What's not to like?
Although there are tables both in and outside, I have only picked up food to take away and what a pleasure it is. I defy anyone to find better salads (Euro or sandwiches in Paris. They sell a vast array of cakes and various...other goodies, coffee too, the place is a foodies delight. Beautiful quiches, all sorts of bread, lots of it freshly baked on the premises. Great for lunches if you are on the go. If you are anywhere near St Lazare, its worth heading slightly off the beaten track for the delights that await here.
