Les Week-ends de L'Espadon

Les Jardins de L’Espadon is outstanding in every way: the decor, ambiance, service, cuisine! For main course I had roasted scallops plus, with a sauce that was so delicious that I ate very slowly to prolong the pleasure. The chef circulated among the guests. There were several extras in addition to the amuse-bouche.

Went for dinner with an American friend. Food was overall solid though not mind blowing. The lamb dish reminded me of several I have had over the years at similarly priced/rated restaurants in Paris, London or NYC. Service was rather good and not overbearing. One thing that bothered me, though, was that I had asked before dinner if we could have a barquette dessert and that they wrote back it’s only sold at the Vendome bar at the Ritz (which I knew but that’s precisely why I asked, so that my friend could taste it . Didn’t think it was great service at a hotel of this category (why couldn’t they arrange a takeaway anyway? but left it at that. During dinner though, I was surprised to see another Vendome dessert (the one that looks like a Madeleine to the table next to us with a candle (I assume, for a birthday . Hard to swallow.

Exceptional dinner in an exceptional place. the team is at the smallest care in this wonderful room full of history. You have to enjoy with slowness and voluptuousness this refined cuisine of the great days and trust the sommelier. Don't forget to take a coffee after meals, it's a fairy-like moment with the surprise of a curiosity office served at the table. We had the ritz nanny with a heart ball realized by the pastry. another treats this hot served bread ball at table by the baker a feast. and for those who do not eat gluten like me a special bread that has a true taste. Thank you to this beautiful team and its leader.

The restaurant of the hotel ritz does not contradict tradition: served in a beautiful room, the quality of the dishes and the service is excellent. my entry on the theme of the tomato was composed of three dishes in sequence which is an ephemism to define exceptional, each served thing is studied in detail to marvel at the eyes and the palace. The kindness of all the staff makes you comfortable without being invasive.

The swordfish located in the recently renovated hotel ritz. the place is beautiful the restoration is good but not to the height of a three-star. the service is very well but in run-up. You can also drink a drink in the different bars or in the garden or in the courtyard.
