We use this place in the uk much they know that they are going to get fresh eating great coffee fresh juices and some healthy options.
There are prêt à manger restaurants almost everywhere now the last we have eaten in new york city, but the model works safe. which was particularly beautiful at this in the gare de lyon, is that the chairs are really... comfortable as what they stand outside in the hall. you almost forget how it was when you had a sandwich while you were blacking a drink on the outside. here they can take their computer, ibble their sandwich, and get some work done / rest a bit before they train the masses in direction. .
My sister made the effort to try and speak French and instead of being welcoming like most cafes are, the man serving was very rude. He was mocking and laughing at her. The barista was joining in too. I get the French hate the English...but there is no need to be so rude. We’re not from England but we are English. If you want rude service go here.
Pret a manger is certainly the best place to buy something before catching the long range train in gare de Lyon. J 'adore!
