Amarante - Paris 12e Arrondissement

We did not like our experience at amarante. the host was not very friendly and unfortunately the food has not made the bad service at all. we do not come back and do not recommend amarante.

I visited this little hidden bistro to dinner. it serves traditional French cuisine, including rich callbsal served with a frit of bookwheat and cottage cheese, which was an unusual but tasty accompaniment. dessert was a highlight: an acidic lemon cream brussels, both satisfying and refreshing at the end of a rich meal. the waiter was very accommodating and helpful.

A hidden gem. after the FT review, a visit was the perfect excuse to revisit paris. amarante was everything it was to be French, for carnivores, excellent cuisine, even better ingredients. some of the dishes offered here would not find a place. outside france. a restaurant for food, without doubt, to fit with a wonderful wine list. service is excellent, while not in any way overlaid by an excellent front of the house. they come if they like to eat French and simply eat delicious (and very filling).

That is a small restaurant hidden in a street of paris. I'm here for a glowing review. the menu was limited, but the food quality was good. manager and chef are very attentive.

Excellent restaurant not far from Place de la Bastille. Simply wonderful food and excellent value for the quality. The waiter was very attentive and informative.
