We chose Les Tantes Jean for our last meal before leaving Paris and we were not disappointed. Kobe and the aged dried French beef are specialities of the house that should not be missed, and it is worth noting that cost of the Kobe here is lower per gram than in our home city of Chicago, so a bargain as well as a special treat (and it was better prepared here). The cook on our Kobe was also perfect a very difficult challenge to get the Kobe meat just cooked enough to render the fat like butter, while leaving the meat tender and red, and it was perfect. The Blue Lobster was also amazing. Finishing details like the Miso sauce (served on the side with the Kobe), grilled pear, and steamed vegetables rounded out the outstanding proteins. Good selection of French burgundy. Service was very attentive, though the dining room was only half full when we visited so we never stressed their service capability.
It was a pricey set menu for Christmas Eve but I enjoyed the experience. The background music could have been better but honestly can’t complain because the food and service were great.

Excellent dinner! I enjoyed every dish. I had the tomato tartlette, the blue lobster and finished with the absinthe soufflé! My husband had the black Angus steak. Absolutely delicious. Service was great, wine was excellent, overall a great experience! I highly recommend it.
