Contribuiți la feedbackWe ventured into this place as the dessert menu looked magnificent. After a rude greeting we were seated, then told not to order our wine at the same time as the food, and then told that it was not a bar and we could not...just order dessert. All this would be fine if the message were delivered politely, but the staff member was so rude my daughter left the restaurant in tears. Very disappointing and a disheartening welcome to our first night in Paris.
Unpretentious, friendly. The roast chicken was beautiful.Nice experience and a warm welcome on a cold, rainy Parisian evening. The puy lentil salad which I had for my starter was so so tasty.Go just for the atmosphere as there are no tourists but only people in the know.
Le Barometre is a true little neighborhood place, unfussy and casual, that is such a relief to find in the trendy (but wonderful) Marais neighborhood. You'll eat well, won't pay too much, and feel you're welcome. Marie the owner always a daily special (and the...roasted free-range chicken on the menu is always great Nice to find such places where all the regulars from the neighborhood come, and is also welcoming to visitors. Lentilles de Puy, carottes rapees, oeufs mayonnaise, terrine maison, faux-filet de Salers, magret de canard, all the good staples are here! Plus wine by glass, carafe or bottle!
I've been in Paris for days and this was by far the best place around. Food amazing, setting as lost in time (but in a good way in the staff very friendly... Couldn't recommend more!!
Nice restaurant in Le Marais. Menu offers few good dishes. We tried quite a few and most of them were good. Some medium. Burger was very good. Also cakes very good and even too big. Atmosphere is very nice and romantic. Service is good.
