Contribuiți la feedbackExcellent afternoon, beautiful oysters and excellent hospitality by marie and monique, thank you. will come back soon!
Amazing location and amazing personal. thanks to monique and her colleagues for the great quality of the service
The place is nice, very well located in the heart of St Germain. The service is good, courteous and professional. The food is also fine, the same that exist all over Paris. I believe this restaurant has one or two other branches in Paris. Prices...however are on the high end. Location, tourist attraction and so on. There are in Paris, if not too picky on location, much better places at much cheaper.
We went here for a family dinner and tried out the seafood selection, a fish menu, as well as some deserts. The seafood is OK, not too fresh but not too stale either. Cooked fish could be a bit better, needs more care. Just know...that everything is a bit too much on the expensive side given what you eat. The one thing that was simply bad were the desserts. We had the crème brulée, topped with what I can only imagine is gasoline to make it burn as it's brought to the table as a visual spectacle, which makes it taste just horrible! The profiterole was equally bad, with ice cream inside that makes the warm chocolate sauce freeze in a short while, altogether destroying the experience. The tiramisu was relatively more agreeable, though it lacked alcohol and was bland at best. In short, avoid the desserts!
Delicious food and wine. We had the oysters to start, followed by mussels for my partner and scallops for myself, all dishes were delicious and served by the lovely Gregory who delivered fun and friendly service. Would definitely recommend. Only thing that upset me was...being sat near the lobster tank, as I hate the idea of that. Whilst this is an expensive place to eat, it was worth the money.
