La Chine - Paris

Had the peking duck and it was something of the best I ever had. the location is picturesque and very old school, service was fast, friendly and informative.

We are here twice during our short trip to Paris. Food is excellent and very authentic (my parents are Chinese) and waiter is extremely friendly. We had prawns, seafood stir fry, rice and dessert. Everything was fresh, not too salty nor greasy.

I had a very amazing experience dining at this restaurant. As a Chinese, personally think this place is very authentic. Their stir fried dishes has a strong wok flavor, and they cook the dishes with great balance of sauces (not too oily and salty). All...the dishes that I have tried, such as the soup and steam fish are equally good too. The only cons is the place a little bit too small, so if you go with a big group at peak time after 9pm is recommended to call for reservation.

A reasonable Chinese restaurant in the centre of Paris. It is conveniently located near Madeleine Metro. The selection of food is extensive, but nothing leaps out necessarily as being unique: standard Chinese menu really. What we ate was reasonable and freshly served, but not overly...exciting in the great scheme of things. The service was acceptable and the food was served fresh. If looking for a Chinese restaurant in this area then this is the place to go as it seems to be better than some of the other options. Small and cost, so you may have to get there early for a table.

We seldom have oriental cuisine when we travel. However for the La Chine, we visited the restaurant three ago and found the quality of its Chinese cuisine was beyond our expectation. Being back in the Madeleine area, we decided to return for another sample of...the place and the food. Much to our surprise, the menu of the variety of dishes plus the choice in a la carte or set- menus was very customer's friendly. We were glad that we secured our table before the place was completely occupied. All the customs were rather familiar with the restaurant therefore must be repeaters. We are happy for the place really becoming an in-place dining in Madeleine.
