Neither of us could finish the dish. They were also served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. Surely it's not too hard to wash dishes and save the environment some more unnecessary plastic? I won't be going back there again.
We had a lovely lunch at reasonable prices and also good for families. Couldn't get any closer on the wharfs edge,
Now I remember why I don't eat down at Stokes Hill Wharf. The worst fish and chips I have ever eaten - had two mouthfuls and threw the the deep fried carcass of what I think was fish along with the pathetic excuse for a salad and the soggy chips into the closest bin. Really disappointing that we have this standard in Darwin, particularly in such an iconic spot. And just one last word to the owner behind the till - it costs nothing to smile and use manners like thank you and please.
Cooked to perfection Large portions you really could share A little pricey but the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. A must do in Darwin
A local friend took us there and I wish she had known that we hate fast food. We had crumbed barramundi with a bit of salad. It was over priced and an $18 bottle of white wine was a whopping $35. The company and being on the water made up for the fact that this was a rip off. Save your money!
