My girlfriend and I came here for the coffee tour. The owners are clearly very passionate about coffee and the environment which shows in the quality of their products and the tour. I would recommend this farm to anyone who is close to Cartago or even if you’re looking to buy quality organic coffee online. This is a great organic coffee farm. The owners are very generous in sharing about their journey through organic coffee farming. Their process, which they showed us, is extremely clever and efficient. The coffee is absolutely delicious.

Have visited the facility in 2019 beautiful grounds with many birds (and for coffee lovers a great tour and fine coffees). Fast forward to 2021 I started drinking coffee while in Costa Rica for another visit. Made Cafe Cristina my go to source for Costa Rican coffee when I returned to the States. Have been buying from them ever since. Several of our original tour members are doing the same. A fine place and people.

Highest of recommendations for the very affordable and personal tour of the organic coffee farm hosted by the community-minded owners who are very welcoming, knowledgeable and excited to share their passion for sustainable, ecological farming. Not only will you see the entire process of coffee production from growing, harvesting drying, roasting (and tasting), you will learn how a high end coffee can be produced without the use of pesticides and in a manner that is sustainable and safe. The owners are friendly and offer a truly insporing overview of their entire, vertically integrated, model of producing some of the finest coffee in Costa Rica, in a manner that is beneficial for both the environment and the community as a whole.

Very interesting tour of coffee farm included details of the plant growing process, insights into the organic method used by the farm, tour/description of the processing and drying process, finally a demonstration of the roasting process and a cup of coffee to try! We had an excellent time, it was very informative and interesting. Owners clearly very passionate about their farm which was lovely to see. Highly recommend. We emailed to book a week in advance.
