Habaneros Taco Grill #6 - Paradise

I usually LOVE Habaneros and always order their shredded chicken quesadilla because it's consistently delicious and my favorite choice. The flavors are vibrant, and you can even see the color on the chicken. However, today it looked and smelled really off. It had a strange appearance and an odd smell, which was unusual. Plus, it was incredibly watery. I ended up wasting $20 on Uber Eats for this, and I'm actually hesitant to eat the mystery meat!

The food was served hot and fresh, and the restaurant was clean. I also appreciated the daily specials.

The gentleman managing the takeout and drive-thru, who has worked there for a couple of years, really leaves much to be desired. His customer service skills are nonexistent, and he seems to struggle with basic conflict resolution. Honestly, it felt like he could barely manage to prepare a hot burrito. After waiting 20 minutes in the drive-thru for three chicken rolled tacos, I felt compelled to mention the delay, especially since I hadn’t received so much as an apology for the wait. The response I got was, “There are other places around, like Roberto’s and Filipito’s.” It’s disappointing to think that if you’re looking for decent Mexican food during a short lunch break, you might want to consider going somewhere else instead of putting up with this service. At least the rolled tacos were warm.

Habaneros taco grill is one of my favorite spots for Mexican food. I usually go with the street tacos but today I went for a burrito. Meat was tender and flavorful. The staff was super nice to deal with and food came quick. The store was clean and they even cleaned up after me. I come for the daily specials as it's a great deal. Will be back for more when craving Mexican food.
