We have arrived so old, because we did not know that the restaurants close there early. but they were so friendly that even though we arrived late, they served us with fresh food. friendly and helpful staff.

This is a good place to sit for a relaxing evening with friends. Like it says, it is a traditional tavern, so in the background you can hear typical greek songs. Food is good, portions are great. Sheftalia used to be a bit heavy but now it is milder which makes it even better. Pitta is really big btw. Paphos is known for its big pitta size but this tavern makes a really big pitta! This is one of the best (if not the best) souvlakia place in Paphos (and probably Cyprus). You get quality, quantity and very reasonable prices.

Mixalos is undoubtedly the best local souvlakia in paphos! it is a relatiw small and unpretentious restaurant, but quite pleasant (especially the small outdoor area) and while the menu is not very extensive, this is fabulous! especially the sheftalia, which is possibly the best and the right in zypern. further great choices are the pork chop steak, which is also a juicy and tasteful. the chips they serve are made from freshly cut potato that are not frozen, and the tahini is one of the best I had in cyprimary. the prices are very reasonable and while it is not the place for a romantic dinner, it is certainly a must for all who want to enjoy a really great Cypriot bbq
