2 Compas Kitchen - Pantego

The service and food at this restaurant were terrible. When I ordered an unsweetened ice cream, I was told they only offer sweetened drinks or bottled drinks. Could it be because of the bad water in Pantego? This was just the beginning of my disappointments. I wanted to order a plate of 3 tacos with 2 beef and 1 fish, along with an extra fish on the side so my partner and I could both try it. However, I was told that all 3 tacos had to be the same meat, and if I wanted fish tacos, I had to order 3 of them for $10.00 each. I also asked if there were any sides other than rice and refried beans, but there were none. Next, we ordered a steak burrito which was a mushy mix of ingredients stuffed into a soggy, lukewarm tortilla. The same went for the beef steak tacos, with soggy tortillas and bland meat. The fish taco was a greasy, salty piece of catfish. For the price we paid, this was a huge disappointment. I can only say that we have been there, done that, and won't be going back. I'm not sure what the other 4-5 star reviewers ordered, but I certainly didn't find it at this restaurant.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, and the food was even better. Arturo was very friendly and helped us choose the perfect meal to take home for our 7 hungry children. Our whole family, from 4-year-olds to 55-year-olds, loved the food. If you haven't discovered this gem in Pantego, you're missing out!

The food at this restaurant was hot, fresh, and delicious, all made from scratch. We ordered the berria tacos, chips, and salsa. I also tried the Sandia (watermelon drink), which was one of the best aquas frescas I've ever had. I left very satisfied and happy with my experience.

The food is always very good with quick service. All the employees are super welcoming and nice every time.The tacos and quesadillas are pretty solid but the tortas are absolutely my favorite here. The barbacoa is usually a pretty good bet in terms of meat choice. :)Incredibly reliable and an excellent restaurant to add to anyone's regular places to visit.
