Waffle House - Panama City

My friends and I visited the waffelhaus for a quick bite to eat. the waitress dani is very respectful and rude. first we were greeted by two women who serve. we thought good energy. dani came over asked for our drinks (now has introduced himself). she repeated the order and brought us our drink. there were two hot tees w/lmon, three water w/lmon, and a limonade and coffee. she came back with two limonades, coffee and fruit stamps. we told her we didn't order, then fruit stamp. we said hot tea with lemon. dani catches a posture, we let her know what we want again. we said among us, she repeated the order as she gets it wrong. dani goes back to the table and I quote what you say because I don't have it so deep that it can be replaced, then you say someone can take two table. we kind of got up and gone.

Best coffee I ever had with a wh! and perfect hash brew! kellnerin was sweet and attentive. pleasant clientele.

The food was really great! server not so much. she asked to have cleaned table so that I and my family could sit, she continues to say "it is clean" with visible mug stains as well as crumbs of food from the people who ate before us. she took a dry serviette to wipe off the end of the table, let us simply have ended to clean our own table. she asked if we had a reliance on her as soon as we came in and sat down. Maybe to serve is not her “thing.” we still tipped her. eating was literally what saved our experience so kudos to the chefs! I give the food 5 stars and air the server zero.

I have never been treated this badly at a Waffle House before. We came in around 6pm tonight, and ordered our food. When it came the eggs were burnt and tasted expired, toast was burnt, and waffles were burnt. We sent the eggs back and asked for them to be re-cooked, and the cook immediately started fussing at us and the waitress and saying how we were being picky and the eggs weren't burnt. The other waitress was giving us crappy looks and trash talking us along with him. We had our friends with us and four small kids. My friends husband came up to the cook and told him why we sent the eggs back and the cook immediately started yelling at him and telling him to go sit back down and tried to start a fight with him. We just got up and started to leave because we didn't want to hear the man cussing and shouting at us. As we were walking out the cook started coming out from behind the counter acting like he was gonna follow us out and threatening us. I told him I was going to call the cops if he came any closer. He stopped and turned around, but he kept cussing and yelling at us as we rushed the kids out of the door to our cars. He needs to be fired, and the manger needs to find a cook that knows how to cook. I have tasted burnt eggs before and those were not only burnt brown they had a chemical aftertaste. We could have had him arrested for cussing around our kids and trying to assault us. I have never had such a rude and terrible experience at Waffle House before.

The food was hot delicious!Our server Ty well she was a sweetheart. Very efficient and courteous!I definitely recommend Waffle House by Rocket Lanes Edgewater to anyone that is hungry! Open 24 hrs...
