Kobe Seafood Steak - Panama City Beach

I've always enjoyed Kobe's and have been going there for several years, even before the local controversy. Their lunch boxes are a great deal, and with the addition of one or two sushi rolls, it's enough delicious food for two people!

Initially skeptical, I have now become a fan! The restaurant's exterior isn't very appealing, but I craved hibachi, so we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following week. I ordered the steak and shrimp, and even added scallops! The prices were excellent, and everything we had was cooked to perfection! I will definitely go back and also try the sushi next time. The service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly.

I had one of the best Hibachi dinners ever, and that's saying something since I've had plenty. We went on a Friday night at 7:30. The edamame appetizer we ordered was delicious. I had the filet mignon ($20.95) for my main course, and it was incredibly tender—literally melted in my mouth. It can get pricey, especially if you start making special requests or substitutions. My only complaint is that the chef added prawn sauce to the noodles, which overwhelmed them with flavor. I was surprised, as many people don't care for that sauce. I wish he had asked first.

From the outside it seems to be an average building. Go to the main entrance Your welcomed by a mini mount of oriental statues like happy Buddhas. In greeting from several waitresses with warm smiles we sat at our table. Several menus were made available and the staff had no problem on any dish. Service was impeccable, sushi was amazing and quality cuts were used and the freshness was appealing to the pallet. Our main courses were also amazing. I highly recommend Kobe for those seeking authentic Japanese cuisine. In any case, in future visits will return to Kobe and you will definitely get worth your monies.

I absolutely love this restaurant, it is my new favorite! The service is wonderful and the food is absolutely delicious! Plus, it is very affordable! Less than 20 dollars (and that's with a tip) for all you can eat and more.
