E 9 Reinas - Panama City

Are here on our first night in Panama following a very long flight from the UK. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and the service was good. We were both very tired but despite this we had a lovely dinner with an excellent bottle of wine to celebrate our arrival. Loved the décor and the appearance.

We had visitors from Europe and we invited them to 9 Reinas with no regret...it was excellent. Panamanian entrees, seafood and steak were tasty and fresh as well as desserts. The server Johandris was on top of everything and definitely he made us feel very welcome...the dinner was a pleasure!

I was expecting a top notch Steakhouse, Argentinian style and was completely wrong. Restaurant has a nice setup and decoration inside a beautiful hotel but the food was really bad. I ordered a “colita de cuadril” and had to send it back because it was cold. Replacement dish was anyway not tasty and not tender at all, definitely not Argentinian level. My wife ordered a salmon which wasn’t very good either. Restaurant is pricey and not good value for money. I would not recommend it.

I love this place, from the appetizer to dessert, you get there use the valet parking you can make a reservation or just go, we were lucky and had a great table. I will suggest that if you consume 200.00 USD in the restaurant they wave your vale parking fee, that will be better. The food is spectacular we had a mango and fish ceviche super fresh, Argentinean empanadas WOW!! the meats also great and their menu is diverse so that everybody can eat, i will suggest this place for a nice meal in Panama.

I had an incredible dining experience at 9 Reinas, located in Central Hotel Panama. The food and ambiance were fantastic. I tried the San Telmo hamburger with potatoes, followed by the Volcan de dulce de leche for dessert, and everything was delicious! Our waiter, Mr. Carlos Wright, was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent service by explaining the menu thoroughly. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!
