Parrillada Martín Fierro - Panama

I order the Filete Mignon mid rare.. sent the steak back twice first it was over second was under. The mushrooms are out of a can.. the meat quality is poor this is the best cut it should have better texture. The service is good the atmosphere is also good. I can see this place as a nice place to take a date. I couple of changes and they could have had five stars from me. The food came out quickly.. the salad was nice and fresh.. my waiter was very attentive and polite.

Very authentic, nice friendly staff, good steaks, delicious au poivre sauce. Really could get 5 stars but just don’t want people to have unrealistic expectations for a great local restaurant which provides good value for money.

9 of us stopped in for dinner while traveling through Panama. Service was fine and prices were reasonable as the bill was only 375.00 US for all of us including 2 bottles of wine. Several of us ordered the fillet as we know (or thought) you can't go wrong with a fillet. However, this steak was tough and chewy. Not sure exactly what the cut was or was not. A couple got the ribeye and said it was ok.

Great value. Huge portions. We should have shared. Meat cooked rare as we asked. Wasn’t offered sour cream for baked potato but other diners were. House red wine quite nice!

The salad was fresh and crisp, garlic bread was amazing. The pesto and brushetta mix served with the meal was on point. We ordered the grilled meat for two and it was the fantastic, the beef was cooked perfectly to our preference. Finally a place in Panama to enjoy beef!! The lemon pie was a frozen dessert, but also very good! The service was friendly and helpful, we felt taken care of. The music was classic, added to the ambiance, and you could have an easy conversation over it. I look forward to a return trip, and will recommend this place to others.
