Mika Bazar Café - Panama

We hadn't been to Mika in a while, but recieved a gift certificate for Christmas so we went and were very pleased with the food and the service. The menu has more options than last time we went. The food was delicious and I would definitely return to have more!! The fries were crisp, and the pulled pork was so tender it practically melted in my mouth! Wow! The server was very attentive and kept our water glasses full. The pineapple juice was so fresh and cold. The cheesecake was rich and creamy with a great cheese flavor. It wasn't the flavor I was expecting from cheesecake, but we thoroughly enjoyed it ‐ and it was Keto friendly! The only thing I wasn't happy with is that we had a gift certificate for $40, so we expected that meant we would have $40 worth covered. When the total bill came to $39.97, I expected the gift certificate to cover the entire cost. Instead they only took off $37.38. It is fine for them to tax the certificate, I just wish we has known about it ahead of time that it worked that way.

Followed a review on culturetrip that led us here with the expection of fresh quality. Wow I won't ever trust that site again. Nothing mentioned was available as the menu is different. The food was not good at best. Tastes like boxed pancake mix, my bacon was horribly undercooked. Eggs cooked medium had runny whites. Ordered a matcha lemon and honey and received some terrible tea which we returned. Cute place but not good food. Won't return ever
