Atitlán Nature Preserve - Panajachel

This place is magical all around. The eco friendly environment the abundance exotic foliage, monkeys, birds, cotis, butterflies and even a friendly kitty! I love the room architecture and materials! The extreme sports are so fun, boys did the zip lining and the girls did bike zip lining. The hikes and beach are gorgeous. My only complaint is the waste in the waterfall but the hotel does what they can to keep up with that.

Beautiful small hotel with individual rooms built around the rocks with bamboo and wood. Nice trails that come free with the stay as well as a butterfly room. Nice waterfall to visit.

Q80 for the basic entrance which includes the paths, bridges, butterfly dome, waterfall, beach. I think it's well worth it and a very beautiful area! The only downside is there's a lot of trash around the river and at the base of the waterfall, it would be great if that could be better maintained.

We stumbled upon this hidden place during our stay at a nearby lodge. It was surprisingly fun and the suspension bridges were well worth the ticket costs. We also had lunch there and it was one of the tastiest meals I had in Guatemala.

The reserve is beautiful lots of greenery and we got to see some wildlife when our guides on the zip lines called over a couple of spider monkeys and a family of coati. The Ultra Extremos zip lines were a great experience and well worth the cost. I was going to give a 5 star review, but one of the guides hit on my wife (twice) and tried to kiss her cheek. She's beautiful, so I kind of get it, but it was extremely unprofessional. I was almost going to give 1 star over it, but instead just take this warning: don't leave women in your group alone with the younger guide.
