La Palapa - Panajachel Guatemala

Great little restaurant from the beaten away. they should go here that is ingenious and they have excellent seafood specialties at various nights. carlos takes care of his customers as if they were his family.

Great food and a friendly crowd. One of my favorite places in Panajachel. The burgers are delicious as is the hot Italian sandwich. The Saturday BBQ with Smokin Joes is the best I have had in Central America.

Amazing place. Made a total fool of myself at karaoke Tuesday. Not really I rock!!! And great burger and fries. Real fries.

Awesome beer selection from around the world. Great happy hour, cool staff, and plenty of conversation to be had. A must when you're in Pana.

We spent a night here and i'm glad it was only one night. The hostel part was disgusting. Bathrooms were dirty, filled with live and dead cockroaches. No hot water. Our bedrooms ceiling had mould on it and as a result the room smelt awful. Felt like we were locked in a jail cell. Spend a little extra and stay else where!
