Wok Sabros - Pamplona

Well, we had high hopes because it was busy but those hopes were soon dashed to the ground. Very little choice , mostly veg to go on the wok grill. Three dishes of goodness knows what slop, tasted of nothing . Our 'bottle of house wine ' was already opened by the time it reached our table so I imagine it was decanted from a cheap box. Wish we hadn 't bothered. And it wasn 't cheap either!

I was not expecting so much when decided to stop because it is located on a mall but this was worst than anything I could imagine. 1) grill meat was not taste and really not so much cook(****) 2) oriental food was very bad 3) sushi and Maki with rice has not well bolied as traditionally on Chinese culture. Really I don't recommend anybody to visit this place. It was rubbish

We walked a few hours through the centre of Pamplona and went for lunch to0 this Chinese Wok and Plate grill restaurant. The restaurant is located on the first floor and has a life Wok and Plate grill service. The formula is Eat as much as you want for one price . The service is basic polite and without smile. 3/5 The waitres doesn 't speak any English. We got a table next to a window. We took steak on the grill 1/5, Prawns on the grill with vegetables and mushrooms 4/5, Hokian Noodles with beef, shrimps, mushrooms and vegetables 5/5, fried rice and asian snacks 3/5, ice cream and patries 3/5. green tea 2/5. Price for 2 persons all in: euro 27,80. We will not come back but products and performance are acceptable for the one who is hungry.

We love Chinese food and so have been to various wok buffets in different parts of Spain and this was the priciest. Our meal came to over 90 euros for 5 of us and my daughter only had prawn crackers and a bowl of rice (we asked for that as she's a bit faddy). Our 3 kids were on soft drinks (water and fanta) and we had non-alcholic beer (2) and a glass of wine. We just assumed that it would be about 9.50 a head, which is the average we've paid, and so were very shocked. Also, when it came to having our meat and veg cooked for us, the waiter took our plates of raw meat and vegetables and then they sat on the counter for over 10 minutes until the chef came back from wherever he'd disappeared to. So poor service too. Everything we had was also very salty. The overriding flavour of everything we tried was salt. We wished we'd gone to the nearby McDonalds instead.

This is a buffet restaurant with an awesome selection of both cooked foods, as well as fresh things like salads and fruits. On top of it already being a really good buffet, there is every possible stir fry ingredient you can imagine (almost). There is veggies, so many different types of meat and seafood and then you take the plate up to the chef that is constantly on stand by, and he makes a stir fry right there in front of your eyes with your choice of sauce and the ingredients you give him.
