Gourmet Franks - Palo Alto

At first, I assumed the name "Gourmet" was a joke after experiencing my meal. The hot dog I received had the texture and consistency of cardboard, and the bun was at least double the length of the hot dog itself. The meal was quite disappointing. Even if they had prepared it correctly, I doubt it would have made a difference. Save your time and money—avoid this place. They've somehow managed to ruin something as simple as a hot dog, which I didn't think was possible.

The food is always fantastic! However, the service was a bit confusing since there was only one person working. I had some difficulty figuring out how to pay afterwards, but overall, it was a nice experience.

Cozy little shop, perfect for grabbing a quick bite. I tried the Polish sausage, and it was quite flavorful. The sausages are fried, and the rolls are grilled, giving them a nice crunch. The portions are not huge, but they're satisfying enough. Prices are on the higher side, which is typical for this mall. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.

Was a walk through the Stanford Shopping Centre and got hungry. It didn't feel like sitting in a real restaurant, so decided to try this place. It is a very unpleasant little shop, but the staff is very friendly. I ordered the bratwurst with sauerkraut and got my food pretty fast after. I know it's the Stanford Shopping Centre, but the food was a bit expensive for what I got. Portion size is quite small, so it is more like a snack. The sausage and a drink (plus tip/tax) came to more than $18. The food itself is decent, no complaints there. I can come back if I have any desire, but otherwise one of the other restaurants can try around.

Theres a few bad reviews here but I personally do not understand why. The sausage is very good quality and the service is very good. There is not much variety, but what they do offer is very very good. Also the staff is very nice.
