Driftwood Deli Market - Palo Alto

Been going here since high school. Best sandwich place I’ve ever been to. I moved away but whenever I visit, I make sure to come here to eat and say hi to the owner. Amazing guy! I always get a BLT with avocado on toasted Dutch crunch, pickles on the side, and a side of chips.

I found this restaurant by chance on Google Maps and decided to try the "customer's favorite" dish. It was absolutely delicious! I was amazed at how such simple ingredients could taste so amazing. The crispy bacon and bread, paired with creamy avocado and sauce, made for one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I was tempted to order another one because it was so good.

I have been on the search for the longest time for the most fantastic tuna salad sandwich. Most places have soggy bread or soupy tuna. Not only was the bread perfectly toasted, the tuna perfectly mixed, but the service was absolutely amazing. I have been going to this place for almost 20 years and I am never disappointed.

Flavorful sandwiches and kind people. We will be back next time we are in town.
