Darbar Indian Cuisine - Palo Alto

Their butter chicken is the ultimate comfort food of my dreams. I order takeout from here all of the time and the food is always hot and fresh.

Darbar gives Neeta's in Houston a run for its money. This is quite frankly one of the finest Indian meals I've had on this side of the Atlantic. Its great ambiance, traditional music playing in the background, and exceedingly friendly staff provide an ideal complement to the fabulous food served by this restaurant. Quite simply full marks across the board. I'll be coming back here next time I'm in this part of the world.

Indian cuisine is a well-run operation. the personal is pleasant and knowledgeable and very fast to fill my waterglass or ask if everything is in order and if we need something. the sweet biryani is from the hook. this is one of those places I would recommend for everyone to enjoy a good Indian meal. although I am disappointed that they do not have the buffet, but I am afraid to wait for the return of their buffet.

Great place for Indian food at a good price. the lunches tend to be busy, but the waiting times are not long. great Tandoori chicken and lamb. update nov 2022: went back after a long time - still super delicious food and great service. loves the mango leti. recommend this place

I started to go to Darbar before Covid started going to the court was always the non vegetarian Thiali. I love being able to try different items from the menu with just one dish. The malai kofta is wonderful, it is subtle sweet and savory with the lamb. I'm so glad she started diving again! The staff is always friendly and asks me how I do it. If it's not so busy? I'll talk to me when I wait for my departure. Instead of ignoring me like other restaurants. Darbar is my way to the Indian restaurant, I tried many Indian restaurants in the Bay Area.
