Contribuiți la feedbackTruly an amazing experience. The second you walk in you can tell that this place is no ordinary restaurant. We were seated immediately and handed a menu that I don't know how to read being the uncultured person I am. After a tough challenge of trying to understand the French names of the entrees we decided on the halibut, crab risotto and salmon. After a short wait our food arrived and as you can see from the pictures they look exquisite. Needless to say they taste was exquisite as well !!! I will be coming here more often. In fact I will be here next morning to try the breakfast and see if it's as good as dinner (I'm sure it is. It might even be better). Would recommend to anybody and everybody. You must try this place.
A friend and I came to Cafe Brioche for brunch on saturday morning. At around 11am, it wasn't as crowded as other cafes in the area, which made it more appealing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waiter and seated immediately. I ordered an omelette and waffles. The omelette was well seasoned, and was filling. The waffles were also good, the best part being the fresh strawberry and blueberry that was piled on top. I loved the brunch, but I forgot to take pictures, so I decided to come back for dinner. Although I had heard good things about the fish, I decided to take a shot at the lamb chops. As our food was being cooked, we were given unlimited portions of bread butter, which was incredibly delicious. I had to hold myself back as best I could for the chops, which turned out to be more filling than I had expected. The chops were served with steamed vegetables and a creamy side of mashed potatoes. The entire plate was also covered in a white sauce that tasted amazing. The vegetables were great, but the mashed potatoes were incredible. I would have asked for more if the chops had not left me stuffed. Overall, the exceptional service and the ambiance of the restaurant perfected the already amazing meals. I would come back here everyday if my wallet allowed it!
Great and unique brunch selections. Ranging from exotic sandwiches to traditional ham and eggs. I had the lamb and eggplant sandwich. Definitely better than what I expected and would love to come again. On the expensive side, but you pay for great service.
Delicious food! Excellent service! Scones were the best we've had in a long time.
This is my favorite brunch place in Palo Alto. I love the calm nature of California Ave compared to University. The food at Cafe Brioche is incredible. The Brioche itself is so fluffy and yummy, but the scone is not to be missed. I’m a huge fan of the French toast, especially when they have a French toast special, but the omelets are a great goto. This is the artichoke omelet and I ate every bite!
